Hi all,
My first impression about this object is that it's a composition of multiple parts joined together like an IKEA (a decorative model ) and for this it can't be described by a parametric or an iso surface (at least not all of it).
I would suggest you to take a look on Topmod (a topological modeller) that can turn a primary shape to a complex object.
