|

The latest version kdsurf-062.exe does not install onto a Vista 64, with a Quad Core CPU computer correctly. While the program does run, it will not Export IsoSurfaces in .obj format.
Normally if I type "try.obj" and Hit Edit OBJ button, that file will get saved to the: Program Files(86)/K3DSurf-0.6.2/bin dir. However under Vista 64 file saving does not occur. I did a search of "*.obj", no file was found.
BTW: It does work under Vista 32 running under a P4 CPU. |

Export from Vista64 does work, however, I observed that when I import the (Vista64-) file in Blender, I get only vertices without polygons. Other (XP-) files from K3surf do have polygons (surface).
This is a bit strange, but I think it's not a problem. We just have to export from a different operating system. |

There was a large update to SP1, which has fixed the problem. |
