|
|
hello,
I am a new user of K3DSurf and I want to know if it is possible to plot the gradient vector of a contstaint.
For example :
Consider the isosurface defined by F(x,y,z)=0 and the condition g(x,y)<=0
I want to plot the gradient vector of g, i.e. ( dg/dx , dg/dy).
Is it possible. |

Hi all,
Welcome seblag in the forum
It's not possible to draw a gradient vector in some points of the 3D space with K3DSurf. Right now, Normal vectors are the only ones that K3DSurf can draw.
Also, if you have a picture or a sketch of an example of what you want to draw, you can post it here by using this free image uploading service : http://www.uploadgeek.com/ _________________ Cheers,
