Hi all,
Solid texturing is a process where the texture generating function is evaluated over R^3 at each visible surface point of the model.
Instead of editing images to fit a model, a function is used to evaluate the colour of the point being textured (Points are evaluated based on their 3D position).
Here is an example of what you will be able to accomplish (in near future) with Solid texturing in MathMod.
Stay tuned

Hi all,
it looks like the solid texturing will bring new ways of looking into the mathematical models!

Quick introduction to MathMod-2.2:
This five minutes Youtube video presents an overview of the most important controls available in MathMod:
1) How to change the solid texture of the mathematical model:
"View controls"-->"Texture Preview"
2) How to control the object rotation with the mousse in the drawing area and the rotational axes :
"View controls"-->"Rotation Controls"
3) how to change the speed of the morph effect by modifying the time flow (time step) :
"View controls"-->"Time"
4) How to select/deselect parts of a mathematical model that use a CND condition:"View controls"-->"CND view controls"
5) How to edit MathMod scripts:
"Script Edit"-->"Script Editod"
