You mention in the TickIso example that you can generate isosurfaces with finite thickness ("tick" isosurfaces) using the equation:

G[x, y, z] = F[x, y, z] * F[x - (T/R)*dF()/dx, y - (T/R)*dF()/dy, z - (T/R)*df()/dz]

with
R = sqrt[(dF()/dx)^2 + (dF()/dy)^2 + (dF()/dz)^2]
T = Tickness value

Is there a published reference to this equation?

Hi,
Sorry I didn't respond in time (I didn't have the ability to do it when it was posted)
No I don't think there is a reference for this equation: I just managed to make it myself and it's not that complicated anyway Very Happy
