Hi, I am new here and I have one question:

Is it possible to export the surfaces to STL format in order to print them?

Thank you

Hi and welcome to the forum.
K3DSurf and MathMod export to OBJ file format so you have to use third party program to reexport OBJ files to STL file format: Blender and MeshLab can do this and a lot more

Thank you very much for your answer. I have download the sofwtare and tried to export the example surface to .obj t check if I can open it with Creo Parametric. But I was not able to export the surface. thank you.

I am a math teacher looking for a software for my students to plot and print 3Dsurfaces

Is it K3DSurf or MathMod you're using?
In both of theme, you have to click on one example provided in the examples list (the first Schwartz figure that appears in the beginning can't be exported)
Here are the steps to export to OBJ:
MathMod:

K3DSurf:

It is great: following your instructions I have created an obj file and I have opened it with Creo Parametric (my usual CAD software). It works! Thank you.

First I was using K3DSurf, but since your answer I downloaded Mathmod. Which are the differences?

Happy it worked for you Smile
K3DSurf has four ways of export:
isosurfaces: Triangles and N-gon (N >= 3)
parametric surfaces: Triangles and N-gon (N = 4)

MathMod has 2 ways of export:
isosurfaces: Triangles
parametric surfaces: N-gon (N = 4)

MathMod, however, can export more complex mathematical scenes, with multiples objects and in the near future, it's going to support more ways of export than K3DSurf
