a nice example of morphing is to include 't' to the "skeletal graph of a gyroid" of lopkiol
Code: | F(x, y, z, t) =
cos(x)*sin(y)+cos(y)*sin(z)+cos(z)*sin(x)+0.05*(cos(2*x)*cos(2*y)+cos(2*y)*cos(2*z)+cos(2*z)*cos(2*x))+0.4+t
x [ -2*pi, 2*pi]
y [ -2*pi, 2*pi]
z [ -pi, pi] |
okay, now turn on morphing, lean back and enjoy... |

lopkiol wrote: | Very beautiful images, jotero. I was wondering if you can render this:
if((x<12*pi)&(x>0)&(abs(y)<4*pi)&(abs(z)<4*pi),1.0*(cos(x)*sin(y)+cos(y)*sin(z)+cos(z)*sin(x))-0.0*(cos(2*x)*cos(2*y)+cos(2*y)*cos(2*z)+cos(2*z)*cos(2*x))-1.46*(x-6*pi)/(6*pi),1)
with x between 0 and 12*pi. y and z between -4*pi and 4*pi.
If you make something really catching, it will be the cover for this conference:

First I have to thank for this really amazing program. The little I have played with this did create a huge need to play more - addictive.
Combined with Kerkythea, I did create this alien lamp. Somehow I cannot get to high resolution like torolf. Grid was 128 with k3dsurf-1614-Unstable for Windows. I wonder how to create a bone sphere?
