Procedural architecture can be awesome, especially with atmospheric lighting and ambience. http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=14363
Does anyone have a suggestion about how to divide 3d space into random wall shaped cubes? it's the same principle as 3d perlin noise, which is a fast compute algorythm to general aperiodic (non-commesnurate hehe) waves...
except instead of waves i guess just cubes, so a quantized aperiodic function in 3 dimensions... difficult
the only way i think i can perhaps do it is with some kind of arrays of cubes in predefned space, so for every point i would have to loop through abotu 5-6 possibl cubes that could be near each point, which would be kindof slow.
once space is devided into random orthogonal compartments it should be very easy to make patterned bars and grids from the cubes. |

i dont think isosurface is very well suited for it! |
