the Oloid is a fascinating body. It is said that the surface area equals that of the unit sphere. And its rolling qualities is not only funny to look at for kids, it is used in water treatments and mixing applications.

It's been a while since I tried to create an oloid shape in 3D programs, but I failed to do it in K3Dsurf. Now in the second link they say that there is probably no parametric equation possible for the exact and entire Oloid. If you know of a solution, I'd be pleased to know, but for the moment I let it be.
So I went back to a traditional modeler and improved my old mesh, here is the result in obj and 3ds format:

And here is a little simulation, rendered in a 3D program. It shows quite physically correct the movement of the Oloid:
