Hello all!
I'm not a mathematician, but I am intrigued the concept that an equation can define a 3d shape.
I just don't know where to start the learning process.
I have played a little with k3dsurf, by altering the equations to get different results - all by accident - nothing by my own intended design.
Can you recommend a website or reference material that will help me start understanding how equations do this from the beginning and heading towards the advanced?
Thanks for your help!
