What happens to the Torsion Spring's surface?
Although the white rings should be at the same distance from each others, this animation shows that there is stretching and retracting movements that took place on the spring surface.
The texture might not look right, but I found it very helpful in understanding what kind of "forces" took place during the spring movement.
