I use a number of math & 3d programs so I sometimes forget which program does what Smile I thought the following might be helpful, to those using the Tools Tab.

01. Goto Tools Tab
02. Check mark the Activate Box
03. Goto Parametric Tab
04. Pick the "Cliffordtorus" from the list (for this example)
05. Pick the Twist Tab below, create some Twists about X,Y, or Z axis
06. Pick the Scale Tab below, create some scaling about X,Y, or Z axis
07. Click "Generate Equation/Save" in the Scale Tab
08. Click the "Edit" box, This box now contains the new values generated from the values chosen from 05. and 06. above. Keep it open!
09. Remove Check mark the Activate Box
10. Goto the Parametric Tab
11. Copy and paste the X():, Y():, Z(): values from 08. above into their respective X=f(u,v), Y=g(u,v), Z=h(u,v) windows.
12. Hit "Calculate", Viola! the "Modified Cliffordtorus" reappears
13. Now further modify by Line, Colu, & Grid.
14. then Use Options to save as .OBJ or add the Equation to its own .k3ds file under the title "Modified Cliffordtorus"

cheers!
